Lake Twentytwo sits in the Cascade Mountains of Snohomish County, Washington. The hike to reach Lake Twentytwo is about 2.7 miles and a steep 1300 feet of elevation gain. The trail around the lake is an addittional 1.1 miles.
We drove from Edmonds to Walla Walla earlier in the dayon Thursday, October 11. We arrived in the mid-afternoon. Near the start of the walk, which was the La Quinta Inn, we saw the old Northern Pacific train depot. Now, it is the depot restaurant. We came back here for an Italian dinner. More pictures are at the end of the gallery.
The sailboat on the trailer is a Beneteau First 210. I used to own one. I was surprised to see a sailboat in Walla Walla, Washington, which sits a long way from any large body of water. I wonder where the owner sails it? Maybe on the Snake River at Lyons Ferry.
